Stevie Nicks, Silver Spring

The five minute mark. They're pros and selling the song is part of the job. But I choose to believe there's something real at that point, that all the years later, they left a mark on each other that still resonated. If it's not the case ... I don't want to know.

I'm with you. You can't sing that way and not feel a connection. What came later might have killed it, but it sure looked alive back then ...

I am with you guys. That is almost painful to watch. I had never seen the video, and the way they looked at each other. They may be performers, but first they are people.
As for selling the song..... they've got enough money, they wouldn't have been on stage together if they hadn't wanted to try and recapture some of the old magic. And they did. The Dance was amazing.

God damn. Here I am, a twenty something who decided to see if the internet had any news on his favorite author from his teenage years and I discover some geriatric band that I never heard of singing a song they wrote a million fucking years ago so damn well that now I have to check out all their other stuff.
