Emerald Eyes, Infinite Methods rewrite, L.A. Family Court ...

We went to court again yesterday -- fourth or fifth time, I've lost track already -- and we're pleased with how it's going so far, and that's probably all I should say at this point. We go back again early October.

Finished proofing & typesetting EE late last night and went to bed -- I'll read it one more time tonight and send it to Immunity -- should be up tomorrow, along with a corrected version of Armageddon Blues.

Haven't done a bit of work on the Infinite Methods rewrite. I'm interested in doing it, but it's going to have to wait until I can squeeze out a free hour somewhere.

What's Infinite Methods?

A post I made a week or two back, about the value of parsimony and efficiency in communication -- that went on too long.

What was wrong with the version of Armageddon Blues that was already posted ay Immunity? (I've started reading it and I'd like to know if I need to start over.)

Just typos in the copy of Armageddon Blues. You're safe to read. :-)

Dan,

I was going through some old computer stuff, and came across a copy of "Left Behind". I was wondering if there is any future for the character Ola Blue. Does she factor into any of the stuff you plan on making available?

e version of EE? nooooooo! ~10 years ago I loaned my EE paperback out, never returned. Recently I bought a plastic wrapped (from the locked cabinet) near mint copy at Powells books for bunches of $$'s and now it's going electronic! :(

Well, on second thought that is a good thing. Maybe more people will be exposed to the books. Webangels, Genies, Peaceforcers...oh my!

Tom,

Ola Blue is the main character of "The Always Rising of the Night." She's one of the very earliest of the Continuing Time characters -- I've lost track of what came first and in what order, but Trent, Camber, and Ola Blue are the Continuing Time, as I conceived it.

And I'm going to write that book come hell or high water. It's the "Lonesome Dove" of the Continuing Time.

That is one novel I look forward to reading.

Hey Dan.
Not to beat a dead horse, but somewhere in the comments a ways back (I'm too lazy to find it again) you said something about a paypal link for those who wanted to donate, not that it would be compulsory or anything.

First citizen's comment about buying EE pricked my guilty conscience.

You see, ny first copy of The Long Run was a stripped book. Not that I realized at the age of 12 how that impacted authors or the publishing world. But when I realized later what it meant, I really regretted that I never paid for what became one of the favorite books of my collection.

I later bought a Hardcover edition from Quietvision, but that was mostly so I could have a more durable version to grace my collection.

I still wanna be able to send you a donation, someday, and clear up my bad karma.

Tyop found in EE.

Search for "Maklo" next to "Crutches".

A friendly neighborhood proofreader...
