Google Profile ...

gplus.to/fatsam

I may post some more to this blog, but mostly I'll be there.

Do remember that gplus.to is NOT owned by, or in any way related to, Google. Which means it could be subverted at the owner's fancy.

Yeah, I know. If there were a better option, I'd use it. If gplus.to gets screwy, I'll find another way. (And it'll be huge news the first time it happens -- everyone will know to abandon the .to links.)

Dude, you have danielkeysmoran.com still (well, I do, in your name)... :) You can set up your own redirect, and have it go to facebook, g+, or here.

Oooh .... would you? I think we got all 3 domains (.com, .net, .org) -- if you could point all of them at:

https://plus.google.com/u/0/107286020910913706370/posts

I'd owe you.

It might be working now... I had to change the DNS, and then set up virtual hosts on apache. It seems to be working with no impact on the main server, but I'll be watching it for a few days.

Many thanks. Not working for me yet, but I assume DNS hasn't propagated yet. I'll try again in the morning.

Dumb question. Reading this on my iPad, and I don't see any way to follow you, read your stuff, etc. Is there something I'm missing or is it just a bad mobile page?

You should see a couple public comments when you go to gplus.to/fatsam. Don't you?

Sean, make sure you add a @ record to forward all prefixes (www or blank, or whatever). If you just put danielkeysmoran.com it fails to forward/resolve.

The www is getting less and less meaningful over time.

I did that deliberately, for now anyway. Apache should work without the www, but for the DNS I made it mandatory.

The domain has no A record, so most web browsers will try to add the www. themselves. So I don't consider it a huge impact.
