Sorry about how slow publishing this to e-books is going -- for text that's been around decades in some cases, there are still typos ... if I ever produce copies of these books absolutely without typos, doubtless the universe will end.

So, having just discovered the treasure trove at Immunity, and hearing the (happy dance) news that Tales were continuing, I began re-reading EE. I'm 99 pages into it, and have run across a few sentences that I struggled with the flow of. Now I wish I'd marked them so I could point them out.
I realize that spelling or typos are one thing, writing style and punctuation choices are quite another. How do you feel about feedback on sentence structure?
At a certain point you have to let it go, is mostly how I feel about it. I read Last Dancer, the most mature of those novels, and I itch to rewrite a lot of that text. The earlier novels are worse.
Some of the text is clumsy. Following along and cleaning up to suit myself at each progressive step of my life? Madness, madness ....

I read Empire Blues: The Devaronian's Tale in Tales from Mos Eisley years ago (probably not long after it came out) and have been looking for more of your work ever since. Unfortunately at first I only thought of looking for you in major bookstores, it wasn't until fairly recently that i thought of looking online. But the two books that looked like the best places to start were over a hundred dollars and I am just way too cheap for that shit. I can't even count how many times I've read Empire Blues, it is simply my favorite story by anyone (and I am pretty damn well read). So thank you, thank you, thank you for finding a way to get your works out to the public without them having to gouge into their wallets. I am very excited to finally be able to start reading more of your works!
